Rick Kamel has been a premier public relations expert for over thirty years. When he wanted to start his unique "PR by the Minute" business offering, he knew he'd need a straightforward website to explain what he was up to.
Using the open-source platform Wordpress as a simple content manager, Little Green Cube was able to build a simple, clean website that Rick can update when he needs to.
But when he wanted to refer his clients to a dynamic resource library where they could read, watch, and listen to dozens of different media files – that's when we really got down to business.
Working with the Wordpress media file uploader on the back end, we designed and built a custom resources page that allows Rick's clients to easily find and use the information in multiple formats - Word documents, PDFs, MP3s, QuickTime and Flash videos.
Users click on a category name to view the file list within, and then just click on the file name. Their audio or video files start playing instantly in their web browser with no additional software or player launches required, and text documents can be downloaded and opened instantly.
